There’s a good list over at MSN of 10 things you should never buy new. I am employing a few of these suggestions already including books, videogames and cars. I suggest you check it out if you’re obsessed with padding your bank account like I am.

I’d have to make an exception on the books for new editions of technical books, but definitely agree on the other books, most toys, etc

Personally, I wouldn’t buy new video/console games, office furniture and sports equipments, among her list. I do buy new books but I guess we can always borrow from the library.

Yeah, it is good to read articles like that, especially if you have the need to be thrifty and/or frugal. I agree, there are a lot of things out there that you should never buy new (unless you’re just totally loaded/rich) and for me, a car is one of them. Cheers!
