Well, I’ve given into the ‘The Good Blogs’ phenomenon. Hopefully it will bring me some extra traffic and send some to my worthy peers. Additionally, I’ve added Google’s AdSense to the sidebar.
My plan was always to monetize this site, so I want to see how that works out. Right now it’s displaying rug ads, per my last post I suppose. I’m not sure that’s what I was going for, so I may have to play with it some yet. I figure it certainly can’t hurt to bring in some cash though.
I’m struggling a little with getting visitors. It’s happening, but slowly. The biggest success I’ve had so far came from a trackback on Get Rich Slowly from the hip-hop personal finance article. Though, it was nothing to brag about. I’ll probably be experimenting with some things in the future, so bear with me as I annoy you with new widgets and layout changes.
Naturally, the biggest pull for new traffic will be good content, so keep checking in for new posts, or subscribe to my feed!

Yeah, to make money with Google AdSense you’ll need lots of good quality traffic - preferably from search results. Building up links pointing to your websites and providing informative or entertaining content, is two of the biggest things. I don’t see any adverts on this site. Where did they go?
If AdSense doesn’t work out for you, there are loads of advertising alternatives out there.
Anyway, good luck with the online income and traffic to your websites and blogs or whatever! It’s a competitive, tough market our there right now, with all this “blogging for money” and bad SEO advice floating around in Cyber Space. Cheers!

Getting traffic is a long process that involve lots of writing, link exchanges, self-promotions, etc. However, if you already know some people in the business, they could possible give you a boost. Yeah, you can also make decent money with AdSense, but of course, you’ll need quite a bit of traffic.
There is not as much money with creative writing or rant-style blogs, so I like to also write informative articles and have separate niche blogs, sexy babes & models (gallery pages) and so on.
At any rate, good luck with the AdSense revenue (where are the adverts at on this website?) and traffic flow; cheers!
