The mail guy at work told me yesterday, “may your day be full of sunshine” after I held the door for him. I was caught totally off guard. It’s just not something I’m used to hearing. I hold the door for people everyday, and they always respond with “thank you” or “have a good one”, but, while nice, and appreciated, these aren’t different. I forget about it within 30 seconds. But, here I am, a full day later, blogging about a simple comment someone made to me.
Next time someone does something nice for you, dare to be different. Say something unexpected to show them that you really care. They’ll be much more likely to remember. And always, may your day be full of sunshine.
