Dome Improvement: Watch a Full Moon

April 4th, 2007 · 7 Comments

Did you see the full moon last night? It was beautiful. When you’re feeling overwhelmed, catch a full-or near full-moon. Just take 5 minutes to look. It’s a very simple way to remind yourself that no matter how huge your problems feel, they’re not nearly as bad as if that giant ball of reflected light were rushing through space in your direction to crush your skull into the earth below you.

Full moons are absoulutely stunning during the fall season on cool crisp nights. When there are no leaves on the trees the moon stands out more!

I could never think the way you have written after seeing a moon. But after reading your post I will surely see the moon with a positive attitude.

When I seen the category ‘Dome Improvement’ … I thought it was going to either be filled with informative articles or perhaps a little promotional pitches. BUT, hearken, it is just this one lone post about our mysterious moon.

However, it makes a very good point, in that “things can always be worse.” It is always good to put things in perspective, such as this blog post did. Anyway, the moon is a very interesting subject. I enjoy reading about the lunar myths and moon theories as in how it came to be, and I would also like that lovely light-reflecting chunk of rock, to quit slowly drifting away from this planet, as it has been doing for a very long time. Cheers!
